I loved her descriptions of Italy, how she fell in love, how she realized she needed to become a better person, and lastly, the beautiful relationship she developed with a homeless woman. I don't want to give the plot away, but the homeless woman helps her uncover a terrible scheme, and that is how they become so close. I would have preferred more consequences from each scene, but it's a short story so the author could only cram so much into the tale. Overall a quick, good read. Being through her own pain and struggles, she finds purpose through a homeless woman. I won't give away what exactly happens but the intentions and message of the story are nice. The only issue is the reading can get a little dry. There is a lot of telling , not showing, which left me wanting more from the characters.
